Canon: Original
Character: Marc Albert
Variation: CRAU from Sphere/Vitaen, a crossover PSL involving King of Bandits Jing, Star Ocean and an old LJ RP called Econtra
About: Marc is the son of the rulers of Aquavitae, the Cajuzinho and the Caipirinha. He lives in Quentão, a grand palace raised from the depths of Lake Anjou and placed atop a waterfall, with his parents, his younger sister Kahlua Cecile, and several extended family members — including Vita, the human personification of their planet.
At 23, he's on track to becoming the next Cajuzinho, and in many ways he's like one of those storybook princes, brave and charming and kindand single, but then he discovers a secret that sends him into a spiral of self-doubt. While it's a known fact (at least in the family) that his mother, Nausicaa, had come from another world, what the stories never mentioned was that he's from that world as well; his father was her first husband, the late King Arzei Bohnleid II of the Kingdom of Airyglyph.
The revelation shakes Marc, because to him it means he has no real ties with the world he's inhabiting and supposed to inherit. There have been times when he's felt inexplicably out of place — like when his sister demonstrated Bonded powers while he remained without any trace or sense of magic — and now, knowing his parentage, it's even more pronounced. So he seeks to travel to the world of his birth in the hopes of connecting to his true heritage, and figuring out who he truly is.
